Planned Parenthood

One of the employers I selected is Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is a reproductive health care provider. There are more than 840 health care centers around the country all providing affordable medical care for female and male teens and adults. Planned Parenthood offers information and services for sex, birth control, general health care and much more. Many teens and young adults use Planned Parenthood for their health care needs such as vaccines, health screenings, and physical exams. They also perform abortions. Many of these services are offered at an affordable price. Not only is Planned Parenthood for teens and adults but it is a service for parents and health care educators as well. They provide resources for everyone. There are also many jobs and volunteer opportunities with Planned Parenthood all over the U.S. that employ many disciplines but all of these opportunities relate to public health. Not only does Planned Parenthood work in America but they work in other nations such as Costa Rica, Sudan,
Nigeria and many others. They are campaigning to increase access to safe abortions in these countries. The reason why I would choose to work for Planned Parenthood is because they are geared towards preventative care and teen awareness and education.
