Tampa General Hospital is located on Davis Island in the Tampa Bay Area. Once known as a public hospital it is now private. However, their mission has remained the same it is to provide medical service to all of those that arrive at the hospital in any condition. In their website they provide numerous jobs available. One of the available careers is a full-time position for Manager in Clinical and Business Intelligence that is part of the Finance Administration Department. To receive this job you need to have a Bachelors or Masters degree in epidemiology, bio-statistics, public health or any other related field. Experience in leadership, research, collaboration, and management is a plus. Also a strong understanding in health care and using limited resources would be helpful to earn this job. Working at this hospital provides great perks such as health insurance, $4,000 intuition per year for student-employees, child care, wellness center, and fitness room. This employment is convenient since it is located near the University of South Florida. I would enjoy working at an environment such as this since it would provide a helpful and productive work place for the remaining hospital employees. It does not mention the salary range.

I did not know that job was open but it sounds like something I would definitely be interested in applying to as soon as I graduate with my bachelor's in Public Health. Tampa General Hospital sounds like a wonderful employer that cares about its employees and offers great perks in return for good work. This employer is similar to the ones I researched because I want to work in the medical/hospital field and the organizations and hospitals I researched also offer perks such as these. The health field has wonderful health benefits as well as great growing capabilities.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great opportunity, I am actually pretty impressed with the perks that Tampa General provides. I had no idea that they provided amenities such as a wellness center and a fitness room for their employees. The fact that they offer child care and $4,000 tuition per year for student-employees is definitely a bonus and probably attracts quite a few students to apply for jobs there; it also probably promotes employers who might not be able to afford it otherwise to further their education and I think that’s a great idea. It seems like Tampa General really cares about keeping happy and loyal employees and that they are willing to do the work to provide incentives to do that.
